ALMAQAR was founded in 1971. The company specializes in manufacturing pro-ducts from natural stones for use in construction.

The enterprise is equipped with modem Italian and German machinery. Owing to this modem efficient equipped the enterprise can produce diversified products and facing tiles from granite, marble travertine, basalt, tuff.

The production capacity of the company is 340,000 sq. meters of facing tiles annually. The enterprise can also produce unique products to customer's specific requirements.

The company produces according to international standards and exports to CIS and European countries, especially to Russia, Germany, USA etc.

ALMAQAR is also the founder of ARMIT DIAMOND, an Armenian-Italian joint venture since 1987, which produces all types of tools for the cutting stones.
