"Muzungu" Ltd. is founded in 1996 in Gyumri. It is a big construction company.
The company carries out the following activities:
· construction and design of dwelling and public houses
· making of aluminum doors and windows
· making of school and office furniture
· design and construction of inside heating system
· design and construction of outside engineering network
· design, making and installation of metal and wooden structures
Since 1996 "Muzungu" implemented different construction projects, like
· construction of Gyumri school # 25- funded by "Diakonisches Werk" of German Evangelical Church and "Ognuserv" Charity.
· reconstruction of Gyumri Children's house- funded by "Diakonisches Werk" of German Evangelical Church.
· Reconstruction of Yerevan "Zatik" orphanage, funded by Jinishyan Memorial Foundation (JMF)
"Muzungu" was involved also in heating projects.
· Heating system of several Gyumri schools, as well as some schools from Shirak Region of Armenia, like Tavshut, Lernut, Pokrashen, working with famous donors, like Armenian Caritas, World Vision, USAID in Armenia, "Fyure Armenian" benevolent foundation.
· Heating system in Gyumri children's House, funded by "Hovard Karagiozyan" foundation.
In 2000 "Muzungu" Ltd designed and constructed Huntsman Village School, in 2003 Meeting Hall for the "Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints" religious community in Armenia.
In 2005 started renovation of "Meeting Hall" in Yerevan Davidashen 3rd quarter, apt.17 for the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
During its functioning "Muzungu" renovated some buildings in Shirak Region, like the building of National Security Service.
In 2002 the company supplied furniture to 18 schools of Shirak Region /funded by Catholic Relief Services/CRS/ Armenia
In 2002-2003 Muzungu made school furniture /1760pcs/ ordered by Social Investment Fund of RA and delivered to several villages of Shirak Region.
The company has rich material-technical capacity and qualified technical staff for the implementation of the projects.
"Muzungu" Ltd has participated in some seminars and received corresponding licenses.
From November 17-27, 2003, S. Petrossyan participated in the seminar "Heating supply business and small - scale Co- generation" in Krakov/Poland/ - organized by USAID Armenia.
In 2002 "Muzungu" got Century International Gold Quality Era Award in Geneva and received quality certificate from B.I.D.
