SolarEn LLC, was established in Armenia in February 2000. It is a private manufacturing, project development and consulting company focusing on clean energy.
Our staff has over a quarter-century experience in solar and wind energy engineering, project development and implementation. SolarEn's team has been associated with the deployment of many solar photovoltaic (PV) and thermal systems as well as wind and biogas projects.
Today, SolarEn is the only company in Armenia that offers a broad range of renewable energy products and services:
- SECO flat plate solar collectors (EN12975 and ISO9806 tested and certified in Germany)
- Solar water heating systems for hot water supply and space heating
- Biogas systems for biogas and ecologically clean ferti-lizer production
- Installation of photovoltaic systems for autonomous and grid connected power supply
- Development of combined heat and power (CHP) projects
- Monitoring of wind resources and assessment of wind energy potential
- Development of wind energy projects
- Technical and policy consultancy in renewable energy
SolarEn participated in the development of the Wind Atlas of Armenia as well developed the Draft Energy Saving and Renewable Energy Law of the Republic of Armenia. SolarEn has manufactured and installed many solar water heating systems in Yerevan and regions. Presently, the company is implementing grid connected 110 kW combined heat and power (CHP) and 10kW PV roof-integrated projects, as well as large scale wind resource assessment in North Armenia.
The company is the representative organization of the International Organization for the Promotion of Energy Technologies - CIS in Armenia. SolarEn is also a member of the Armenian Energy Efficiency Council.
