Research-production company Technokom Ltd. was founded in 1991. Technokom specializes in the fields of design and production of refrigerating and thermal devices, solar water-heaters, ultrasonic stone-processing machines and water engineering. We also design and produce non-standard appliances for heating, refrigerating, vacuum, solar, electric, mechanical engineering and equipment of wider usage. Technokom utilizes mainly the technologies and know-how’s developed within the company.
Technokom staff includes highly experienced specialists, each specializing in several fields.
Over the past years Technokom has won a number of tenders launched in Armenia in the fields of thermal, refrigerating and solar technologies, as well as the tender of the government of the Netherlands in the field of solar energy and production of technological equipment.
Sun Energy is a joint venture company between the Armenian Technokom and the Dutch ZEN International. Sun Energy is the market leader in Armenia on the production and sales of solar water heaters and other (renewable) energy products for the Armenian and neighboring countries.
The company combines Dutch technology for producing SWHs and qualified Armenian production staff to a very reliable Armenian made Solar Water Heater.
Direct conversion of sun energy into the electricity is the most actual up today, but because of technological difficulties the creation of the sun photoelectric converters, high specific value of produced electrical energy 2 000 - 20 000 $/kW/per hour, and short life duration, it is a long way in the future. The most acceptable for today is the direct conversion of the sun energy into thermal energy.
Today the simple device of conversion is the sun thermal commutators, which have low price, can easily serve and have long life duration and easily snap-together with the traditional heater systems. The imperfection of sun thermal commutators is the round-the-clock and yearly irregular making of thermal energy, which is indemned for the use of the thermal accumulators (water, rough, flint etc), and also connected to the electrical or gas thermal systems with the rapid heat exchange device. As a result of this, for the valuable use of the sun commutators in "Technokom" company the production of sun commutators, accumulating boilers and rapid heat exchange devices of different capacities was established.
